PostSubject: Snetterton Charity Event 26th November   October 27th 2011, 8:28 am

A lot of you will already be aware of this event via PHEA or Facebook. I was considering going along to this event as a spectator and didn't know if anyone else fancies it in place of a pub meet for November.

I had considered offering my car for the passenger rides, but after thought decided against this as it would mean an early start to get there to 'sign on' , and also the weather could be horrid at that time of year which would mean a very long wet day that I can't get out of.

More details of the day can be seen at the following links. :

There is also the option of having a club stand at the event. Would this be of interest ?

Any thoughts ?

Similar thoughts to yourself Ian.
We have family comming over later that day, so whether we can get away may be difficult.
Was going to leave it to last minute to be honest and take a view on the weather. As you say, no fun if its pi**ing down with rain.

Sod it ! I've decided to go for it and offer the Vette for passenger laps. I believe Peter is also doing the same. Anyone else fancy it ?

Edited to add : If your up for doing the passenger ride bit you need to register on the main site (www.charityraceexperience.co.uk ). The forms are on the RH side of the page under the photo.

Cheers.

Might be interested in offering the Cerb but need to check if there's a noise limit. Last time I was there I wasn't allowed out to play.

There's a couple of phone numbers on the main website Mike. Maybe worth a quick call, or you could PM KevF on PH forum.

105dB so I'd be right on the limit. Depends on how charitable they're feeling.

To be honest Mike I can't see it being a problem. Surely a lot of the race cars they will be running will be over that limit.

That's good news Mike. We'll have to distract them for you if they start talking noise tests !

Aye! I'll be aiming to get Paul out of bed and at the track for half 7/ 8am. As long as I'm there for the briefing, Paul can wait in line to get the car scuitneered! Laughing
