Getting a little ahead here I know, but took the opportunity yesterday to speak with both the pub and those present regarding the Christmas nosh. The general opinion was 'book it', so I did.

We have a reservation for 16 (can be increased at this stage) at The Cutter Inn on Sunday 1st December at 12.30.

Below is the menu for the meal which will need to be pre booked. Cost per head is £19.95 for the three courses.

I will need a £10 deposit per head to confirm your places please.

At this stage please let me know if you want to come along and your food choices. I'll then email you my address so you can get a cheque to me, or you can pay me by Paypal or into my account if any of these are better for you.

Hi Ian, as mentioned at the last meet, we will be down in Devon that weekend, so won't be here.

PLEASE READ

Really sorry to bang on about this, but we are only 4 weeks away from the date now and so far I have only had food choices and a deposit for one person.

Also I only have 8 people including myself who have said 'yes' to attending. I know that the date doesn't work for some of you (sorry), but a great deal of others have not responded one way or the other so far. This is by far the lowest turn out we have ever had for a Xmas nosh and I'm beginning to wonder whether it's even worth continuing with it.

I will need to confirm numbers (I have 16 spaces booked) and pay a deposit very soon for this. I was hoping to do this at next Sunday's meet, but that isn't going to happen unless things change. Food orders are needed at least a week before the date, so by 22nd November.

So, please if you want me to continue arranging this Xmas meal get in touch urgently.
