No Nigel, the dummy wasn't collected on Sunday ! lol!

Well my Son,s Christmas list is very straight forward. A new car ! Yesterday some stupid 80 year old women thought it would be a good idea to drive into the back of his Golf at 30mph (didn't even brake) )whilst he was waiting at some traffic lights. He was then pushed forward into the next car. He's okay apart from some whiplash and a sore back, but I suspect the Golf will be a right off because of the age. Luckily there was a police car close by so they took control of the situation, and the paramedics checked him out and gave him a written report on the scene, so that hopefully will help in his claim against the stupid bint.

Damage that we can see is obviously rear panels, back corners of rear wings, rear bumper, one front wing, bonnet, front panel, front bumper, rad pushed in and possibly damaged, lights etc. Not sure if there is any damage to the boot floor as can't get the boot to open.

So now we have to wait for the insurance to sort out the mess. Just what we all needed a week before Christmas.

Well looks like the Golf has met it's maker. My lad had the garage call him today, and the estimate is around £3600 worth of damage. Now the arguments with the insurance company start regarding the value. Oh joys ! Rolling Eyes

Sorry to hear that Ian, I bet he`s gutted Mad

Good luck with the insurance companies, lets hope they are in a festive mood, although i bet they are dealing with a shed load of claims at the moment.

Think he needs to be talking to the `Bank of Mum and Dad`

That'll give you something else to play with in the bath then.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and didn't eat and drink too much.

Here's to 2011. Happy New Year.
