Thinking about the route for Wednesday and as an alternative to Paris how about avoiding Rouen

https://maps.google.com.my/maps?saddr=Unknown+road&daddr=49.6456435,0.9658703+to:A28&hl=en&sll=49.636954,1.089706&sspn=0.361979,0.891953&geocode=FbkC9gIdvl8UAA%3BFUuI9QId7rwOACmDCwffgezgRzHFv0Autp1bRQ%3BFc3T8AId17MMAA&gl=my&mra=dpe&mrsp=1&sz=11&via=1&t=m&z=10

then picking up Route Nationale 138 to LM?

Would add about an hour and a half to the journey but might be more interesting?

I'm up for that Mike. Best check with Mr K as he's driving. I guess you are taking your satnav ?

Looking at this again, may not be a good option as it shares part of the route with le Tour.

All safely returned after another visit.

Not very impressed with the event (Le Mans Classic) and a return not likely, but had a great time with a great bunch of people.

Feel bl**dy shattered today.

Agree Ian, the Classic racing was not quite as good as I hoped for but a most enjoyable weekend, if a little 'feisty' at times Very Happy
